9 Oak Lane, asked $3.495 million, sold for $3.1. I don’t see the value here, but someone (builder?) from Shelton thinks he does. Maybe; it’s 0.19 acre in the R-12 Zone, allowing a maximum area of 2,607 sq. ft., and the property’s in both the AE — 13’ minimum elevation — and the VE – 16’ — flood zones, so there’ll be no room to add to that limited square footage by going down.

Decent house, and it hasn’t washed away since it was built in 1900, so I wouldn’t personally fret too much over Al Gore’s rising seas, but the town does, and regulates as though it were true, and that makes building new or adding on difficult.
