Now here's a nice round price cut

25 Lower Cross Road

25 Lower Cross Road

25 Lower Cross Road, up in Conyers farm, dropped $10 million today and is now offered at $35 million. Purchased for $45,000,000 in 2004, it was beautifully restored and placed back up sale in 2015 at $65,000,000, a number from which it has gradually retreated.

The owner is former resident Thomas Peterffy, whose fortune is estimated by Forbes at $13.8 billion, so I doubt he's losing much sleep over this latest development. Mr. Peterffy is a remarkable man, by the way, who arrived in this country in 1956 with nothing, and did rather well for himself. I've been much less productive during that same period.
