Human Remains Found at Greenwich Construction Site

Greenwich Police announced Tuesday night that on September 18, during the normal course of business at a construction site in northern Greenwich, workers discovered what appeared to be human remains after soil was disturbed by an excavator.

The remains were carefully collected from the scene. The Connecticut State Police assisted the Greenwich Police Department in the investigation, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to take custody of the bones.

Preliminary information indicates the remains are of considerable age.

“It’s gotta be Hoffa”, noted former Greenwich Police forensic anthropologist Thomas Keagan told FWIW. “Him, or Amelia Earhart; one of em – I’ll bet my badge on it.”. Reminded that he is now retired to Florida and has no badge to lose, Keagan shrugged. “Meh – so sue me.”

John Brown was a militant abolitionist who believed in the use of violence to end slavery. This led to Brown's involvement in the Pottawatomie Massacre in 1855, where he and a few other men dragged five unarmed men and boys from their homes. Believing those men and boys were pro-slavery, Brown and his group killed them. In 1859, Brown led a raid on a federal arsenal at Harper's Ferry in the hopes of sparking a slave uprising and establishing "an independent stronghold of formerly enslaved people in the Adirondack Mountains." Those who remember their history class will remember that the first person Brown killed was not a slave owner, but a free Black man named Haywood Shepherd.

…. Muslim supporters of Greta "Doom Pixie" Thunberg's silly selfie fleet are objecting to the presence of a "queer activist" in the fleet. 

Who is more oppressed? Who wins the victim Olympics? 

A single "queer activist" has thrown Greta Thunberg’s Gaza-bound flotilla into disarray, with several participants blasting the group’s leaders and at least one coordinator ditching it entirely.

The beleaguered Global Sumud Flotilla aims to bypass Israel’s blockade to deliver aid to Gaza. But when self-described "queer activist" Saif Ayadi joined the effort, Khaled Boujemâa, a Tunisian coordinator for the flotilla, resigned in anger.

"We were lied to about the identity of some of the participants at the forefront of the flotilla," he said in a Sept. 14 video posted to Facebook, the French outlet Le Courrier de l'Atlas reported, according to a translation by Google Translate. "I accuse the organizers of hiding this aspect from us."

Of course, they lied to you! They knew you'd object! And since Greta and her cadre of useful idiots can neither allow themselves to appear homophobic nor Islamophobic, [they’re screwed].

…. It wasn't an isolated objection.

Other flotilla activists posted similar criticisms. Tunisian television anchor, Samir Elwafi, accused the flotilla of involving "suspicious activists."

"Palestine is the issue of Muslims first and foremost and cannot be separated from its spiritual and religious dimension," he said in a Sept. 15 Facebook post, translated by Google Translate. "So why do you involve suspicious activists in it who serve other agendas that do not concern us and have no relation to Gaza, such as homosexuals!??"

Guess what, Greta: This isn't Sweden you are heading into. In Gaza, your "queer activist" crew member would be beheaded, shot, or tossed off a roof. And it's their country, not yours. 

It's a delicious dilemma the lefty Doom Pixie and her crew have been handed. Who to favor? Whose side to take? Both Muslims and "queers" are looked on by the left with great affection. Whose side will you take? Well, a sane person might point out that the odds of a Gazan Muslim just outright murdering the "queer activist" is much higher than the converse, but the selfie flotilla is standing in to Gaza, not San Francisco.

This will all likely be rendered moot. The Israelis will probably intercept this flotilla, as they did the Doom Pixie's initial selfie yacht. The goods will almost certainly be confiscated and passed out in Gaza by Israeli troops. That may be the best for everyone involved, and if this is the plan, it makes it much more likely that Greta's "queer activist" pal makes it home alive.

Pentagon To Seek Final Approval For Execution Of Convicted Fort Hood Shooter

The Department of War will ask President Donald Trump for final approval to execute the Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Hasan, a DOW official told the Daily Caller News Foundation exclusively.

The execution, if approved by Trump, would be the first carried out by the military since 1961. Hasan, a former Army Major and psychiatrist turned radical Islamic terrorist, killed 13 people and wounded 32 others during his notorious rampage on the Army base in 2009.

“I am 100 percent committed to ensuring the death penalty is carried out for Nidal Hasan,” Hegseth exclusively told the DCNF. “This savage terrorist deserves the harshest lawful punishment for his 2009 mass shooting at Fort Hood. The victims and survivors deserve justice without delays.”

Hasan is currently imprisoned in the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Hasan lost his final appeal to his 2013 death sentence in April 2025, according to the San Antonio Express.

Under the Army’s regulations, the Army staff will put forward the recommendation for Hasan’s execution. The packet will then be passed to the Army secretary, then the Secretary of War to give “additional recommendation to the President,” the DOW official told DCNF.

“Inmate Hasan’s packet is now in the staffing process for presidential action,” the DOW official said.

Service members are governed by the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and thus are subject to different procedures should they receive the death sentence. Hasan is one of four people on military death row, according to the Death Penalty Information Center.

Hasan told a military mental health panel that the shooting was justified because the victims were “going against the Islamic Empire,” according to the New York Times in 2014. However, the Army controversially decided not to pursue terrorism charges at the time, the Pentagon instead designating the shooting as “workplace violence.”

AP Cheerleads for Mamdani, Lies About His Record

It is hard to believe at this late date, but there are still people out there who trust the establishment media and rely on it for accurate news. Yet the establishment media continues to go from bad to worse, becoming ever more obviously a propaganda organ for the hard left. Now the Associated Press (AP), which like so many others was once a reliable news source and today is a source for little, if anything more than Democrat Party talking points, has published a lengthy defense of Zohran Mamdani, the Twelver Shi’ite Marxist who is very likely the next mayor of New York. He really isn’t as bad as Orange Man Bad and the other evil right-wingers say, you see.

The fact that the AP article even exists is astounding in itself. For how many candidates does AP provide this service, of reassuring jittery supporters and answering objections, so as to make it easier for those who read the article to vote for the candidate in question? It has likely done this sort of thing for all manner of leftists, but has AP ever provided a helpful explainer detailing how, say, Donald Trump is not really a fascist dictator in the making, or a pawn of Vladimir Putin, or the leader of an “insurrection”? To ask the question is to answer it.

Regarding Mamdani, however, AP pulled out all the stops on Saturday, assuring those hapless few who still take it seriously that poor little Mamdani is really not all that bad: “President Donald Trump calls him a ‘communist.’ His critics say he wants to defund the police. Zohran Mamdani insists he’s just a guy trying to make New York City more affordable.” Aw, the poor guy! What could be wrong with that? 

AP gives us the truth behind those nasty attacks from patriots, explaining that “while Trump and other opponents keep calling Mamdani a communist, he identifies as something different: a democratic socialist. He believes government should play a role in reducing economic disparity, but he doesn’t advocate for a communist system where property is collectively owned.”

Former Vice President Kamala Harris detailed her running mate Tim Walz’s debate performance in her new book and recounted a showdown with then-Sen. JD Vance, which ultimately left her disappointed. 

Harris writes in her new book, "107 Days," that she needed the Minnesota governor to be the "closer" at the Oct. 1, 2024, debate given that she was not going to have another opportunity to debate Trump. But during the debate, she turned to her husband in frustration.

"When Tim fell for it and started nodding and smiling at J.D.’s fake bipartisanship, I moaned to Doug, ‘What is happening?'" Harris wrote, explaining how she believed Walz was duped by Vance’s "mild-mannered aw-shucks" attitude. 

"I told the television screen: ‘You’re not there to make friends with the guy who is attacking your running mate.’"

Maybe so: I read last week that Harris was furious that her carefully-scheduled pre-publication campaign was wrecked when Charlie Kirk’s assassination sucked up the media attention that otherwise she’d have been accorded, but I suppose she’s making up lost ground now. And she’d better plan on retiring on her book sale proceeds, because she’ll have destroyed what little support she had from fellow Democrats by the end of this wrecking tour,
