33 Mead Avenue, asking $1.650. Mead's a nice street, with some very old homes on it; this one was built in 1835. The trouble with homes this age is that they were laid out for a different life style: who entertains guests in a parlor anymore, for instance? But the owners here have added on to the rear (not beautiful, but not at all ugly, and it certainly provides needed space), brought the mechanicals up to date and in general, set it up for another long span of time, and good for them.
If you can live with the floor plan, or are willing to spend some money reconfiguring it, you'll have a very pretty house on a good street.
