270 Taconic Road, asking $3.8 million, is pending. It took awhile: stated at $4.475 back in February, 2015, but still a large sale for this neck of the woods. And it's a large house: 7,000 plus, but pretty nice in its own way. I suggested it as a weekend house to some NYC clients but they, understandably, didn't want so much space, even with an expected coterie of children and guests. It's a lot to maintain.

Owners paid $3.340 for it in 2000 and did extensive improvements, so while I'm sure they got their money out of using it the past 16 years, I doubt they made out over inflation. Of course, many homeowners can admit the same thing, these days.
