P&Z in the dead of summer

Just received this from the Riverside Association (FYI, Malloy vetoed a bill that would have given towns some right to reject developers' projects that add a few units of "moderate income units" to bulldoze through local zoning restrictions. Thanks.)

UPDATE, 7/25: Malloy's veto was overridden yesterday, giving towns some breathing room and protection, for now, from the mandate.

P&Z Commission Public Hearing: Tuesday, August 1st

Please plan to attend this meeting and speak out.

Public Hearing begins at 7:15 PM.

Next Tuesday night at Town Hall, the P&Z Commission will be hearing the two applications described below for new buildings.

The Board of Governors of The Riverside Association believes these projects -- as proposed -- are too large for their sites. Click on the buttons to see pictures of the planned buildings.

The developers are trying to push these projects through during August while residents are vacationing.  Please attend the hearing and voice your opinion.  This may be your last opportunity.
