99 Sound Beach Avenue closed at $2.9 million, on a last-asking price of $3.165. It started a year ago last March at 3.495, and I'm (a little) surprised it took so long to find a buyer. 2008 build, nondescript architecture, but the interior's nice enough, and for a south of the Village location, $3.495 would have seemed to me to have been a reasonable place to begin negotiations.
I have absolutely no knowledge of the sales history of this property, but there are many cases of sellers rejecting an offer, only to have to accept a lower offer later on down the line. Perhaps that happened here.
