Just yesterday I pointed out that the boarding school look was hugely popular in the early 90s, and many examples of the style ended up on Lower Cross.

61 Lower Cross Road’s listing has been renewed, but the price it’s failed to sell at: $7.9 million, remains unchanged. This may prove a mistake. The property, all 13,000 square feet of it on 14 acres, has been on the market since November, 2016, when it started at $11.9 million, and has sat, empty and unwanted ever since, despite that drop to $7.9 last July. The town values it at $11 million; the market obviously this it’s worth well under $8.

Empty house, octogenarian owners comfortably settled in Florida, I’d punt, if I were them.
