It was a horrible morning and grew worse as we tried to find out which of our friends, their children, and our own family members had survived. I don’t have anything more to say on the matter, except to note that this week, every year, I pray for Sally Maloney, who lost her son Teddy in the conflagration. God bless, Sally.
