But, uh, first priority is to colored people * (it’s an online program, but didn’t Kampallawalla and her friends tell us that colored people don’t have access to the internet? — never mind), but even for them and others, there will be a limit of 4 per household, and the kits won’t ship until 7-12 days after requested; actual delivery date may take a bit longer: another two weeks, if my own postal service is typical.

So: you’ve got a panicky feeling that you may have Chinese Flu, and you want to see if you do, because all the best treatments for the disease must be started within 4 days. Oops! Well, at least, if you’ve been ordered home from your workplace and told to stay there until you can produce a negative test, you’ll have your free gum’mint test right handy in, er, two, maybe four weeks. Then, back to work! Just don’t try to board an airplane in the meantime.
