Well, we now have the answer too that — they’re on the side of past Democrats
/wait, haven’t i defended the filibuster for 45 years? Didn’t all democrats? What’s going on here? Who’s saying this?
Earlier this week, Biden’s handlers had him ask his former colleagues whether they would vote to end the filibuster or stand with their fellow Democrats who were ardent supporters of keeping the Black man down: (Democrat) Joe, “Don’t bus white kids to schools ‘racial jungles” * Biden himself; (Democrat) KKK’s Grand Kugel Robert Byrd*; (Democrat) Sheriff Bull Connor; (Democrat) George Wallace*; and (Democrat) Jefferson Davis, (Biden voted to restore to full citizenship). “Or do you want to stand with the party of Lincoln?”
Yesterday, Schumer and his mob answered: “we’ll take racist Heroes of the Democrat Party for $1,000, Alex”, and used to filibuster to prevent the imposition of sanctions on their and Hillary’s best friend, Vladimir Putin.
“It’s the least we could do for our ally”, Schumer insisted. “The filibuster isn’t racist if you’re using it to help your friends.”
**Biden praised former Ku Klux Klan “Exalted Cyclops” Robert Byrd and referred to him as a “friend,” “mentor,” and “guide.”
“I think the Democratic Party could stand a liberal George Wallace—someone who’s not afraid to stand up and offend people, someone who wouldn’t pander but would say what the American people know in their gut is right,” he told the Philadelphia Enquirer.
Biden remained a fan of Wallace through the 1980s. In 1981, he praised Wallace’s positions on various issues and told a black witness during a Senate committee hearing that “sometimes even George Wallace is right.” Later, during his first attempt at running for president in 1987, he bragged that in 1973 Wallace considered him “one of the outstanding young politicians of America,” and while campaigning in Alabama, he said, “we (Delawareans) were on the South’s side in the Civil War.”

Related: So is it fair to ask if Biden is on the payroll of Putin? As Walter Russell Mead wrote in 2017:
If Trump were the Manchurian candidate that people keep wanting to believe that he is, here are some of the things he’d be doing:
Limiting fracking as much as he possibly could
Blocking oil and gas pipelines [in America]
Opening negotiations for major nuclear arms reductions
Cutting U.S. military spending
Trying to tamp down tensions with Russia’s ally Iran.
You know who didn’t do that? Trump. You know who is doing it now? Biden and the Democrats.
