The Back Country seems to be back in favor

550 Riversville Road, $9.750 million, has a contract after 60 days. It sits on just four acres but the large, 10+ acre properties fell from favor 15 years ago and never really recovered until the COVID market drove new New Yorkers out our way, New Yorkers who seem content to do without horses, so four acres is sufficient to their needs.

Regardless of lot size, we’re seeing more sales activity up here than there’s been since 2003-2005, just before the Richmond Hill mega-mansion market went bust.
