Who would have guessed? A bidding war in Byram.

94 Byram Shore Road, a dated, 1988 oddity, was listed seven days ago at $2.150 million and is already pending. Back in 2016 the previous owners asked $2.075 million and had to settle for $1.6 a year later, so these sellers may have been pleasantly surprised by the current market’s response to this house and this location.

The listing describes that location as “on coveted Byram Shore Road”, but until now, the northern side of Byram Shore has been considered to be the wrong side, and “coveted” was not usually an adjective associated with it. Apparently, that has changed.

Anderson windows, NTTAWWT; hollow-core doors, no crown moulding, with the exception of the dining room, and I hate, absolutely hate, designs that require the owner to bring groceries in through the living room.
