Vineyard contract

September 25, 2024/ Chris Fountain

11 Vineyard Lane, currently asking $9.995 million, is reported under contract. The owners paid $9 million for it in 2008 and have been trying to sell it, off and on, since 2011, when they began at $9.955. They’ve put some money into it over the years, but at least it appears they’ll be getting back close to what they paid 16 years ago. We all like happy endings.

Back when the Minnesota fraud was first being uncovered, a friend asserted that it cost more to detect fraud than was being stolen. "How would you know", I asked, "when no one's been looking for it?"
