Newly listed in Riverside, gone by Sunday?
/That’s the prediction of FWIW’s intern Jimmy Olsen, who viewed 10 Verona Drive during today’s broker open house. The listing describes its style as “Colonial”, which would be accurate, I suppose, if Myles Standish built split-levels during his era — I haven’t checked — but anti-disirregardless, Jimmy says it “shows exquisitely, absolute perfection”, thereby demonstrating that, with just six months on the job, our young intern has already learned to speak like a Realtor; he’ll be atop the sales leader board by summer, I predict.
“Low ceilings” — oh, the horror! — but Verona’s a very convenient quiet dead-end, and there’s nothing else out there, so I agree with Olsen: gone by the close of the weekend.
By the way, for those of you who like to value houses by the price per square foot, this one has just 3,000 of them, so when it sells for $4, last year’s ballpark average of $1,000 a foot will be blown away.
