GMC dealership sold $80,000 truck to elderly man with DEMENTIA and let him drive the powerful vehicle home alone, family says

A Georgia family has been left to pick up the pieces after a GMC dealership allegedly sold an elderly man with dementia a truck that costs over $80,000 and let him drive the massive vehicle home all by himself. 

According to the man's family, a salesperson with Carl Black GMC of Kennesaw drove about 40 minutes to the elderly man's home in Hiram and convinced him to trade in his 2017 Nissan Frontier for $11,000, WSB-TV reported. 

After that part of the deal was solidified, the unidentified employee brought the man back to the car lot, where he purchased his new 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali on November 12 with a check totaling $80,126.
