Elderly Protesters Admiring Mini-Skirted Woman

(Original Caption) 12/11/1967-Chicago: Mini-skirted young lady stirs some interest among senior citizens picketing in front of building containing offices of the Readers Digest here 12/11. The demonstration by the militant oldsters is in protest to the magazine's October article, which they say made damaging statements to the effect that the U.S. Social Security System was in trouble. Similar demonstrations are planned in 9 other U.S. cities.

While looking for a picture to illustrate the arrival in Venezuela of the geriatric Pink Pussy Brigade, I came across this photo from 1967. Nice to know that the grandparents of the Pinksters were as active then as their progeny — and just as wrong.
