Weir earned a bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Gerontology from Miami (Ohio) University and a master’s in Teacher Leadership and sixth-year diploma in Educational Leadership from Quinnipiac University.

I have real hope for an educator who has trained in and taught in the sciences rather than one who, say, holds a degree in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies or taught classes on “Unsettling the Whte Gaze” .
