Oh, dear, I have that slightly skewed: It’s actually a Massachusetts LGBTQ Nonprofit that’s paying people on the basis of race, and they’re paying black kids more than whites, “in the interest of equity”.
“White youth will be paid $20 for participating, and BIPOC youth will be paid $25 for participating, as we plan to use these photos for general and specific marketing. BIPOC youth are paid at a higher rate in align to our commitment to racial equity.”
Anti-disirregardless, I’m sure our social warriors and media flogs will be all over this story, denouncing racism and howling for blood, right? Am I right? Anyone? Buehler?
