Jim Gardiner’s latest project, located at 7 Cherry Blossom Lane in the North Border region and priced at $6.895 million, is now open for showings. Gardiner builds a very fine house, and somewhat to my surprise, the mega-mansions on Cherry Blossom have sold well over the years, so this one should do just fine.
50 Bote Road, listed in April for $1.750 million, closed yesterday at $1.9.
just imagine how much more it would have fetched had the sellers been able to afford the zebra to put under the tipi, instead of the more plebeian polar bear
David Strom, HotAir:
Unfortunately, the majority of rapes committed in Paris remain unsolved, but of the perpetrators who have been caught, 77% are foreign nationals.
I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you!
Foreigners committed 77% of solved rape cases in Paris in 2023, according to data from the Paris Police.

Related: Illegal immigrants from 177 countries accept Biden’s 'open invite’ to US border
Nearly 1.4 million undocumented immigrants from a staggering 177 countries traveled through Mexico to the United States from January to May, according to Mexico's National Institute of Migration.
Surges of illegal immigration "over brief periods of time" have happened in the past, said Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, but this "huge variety" of countries is unprecedented.
Considering there are 193 member states in the United Nations, nearly the entire world is taking advantage of the president's "open invite," he said.
"There were always a few exotics, that's kind of my term. They call them OTMs, other than Mexicans, because there were so few of them that they lumped them all together," Krikorian told Fox News Digital. But President Biden "essentially invited mass illegal immigration by letting people get across the border, and word spreads, so you're getting people from everywhere."
Sweden rape: Most convicted attackers foreign-born
22 August 2018
The steep rise in migration also raised questions about Sweden's ability to integrate immigrants. The centre-left Social Democrat-led government soon introduced restrictions and the number of arrivals fell dramatically.
The SVT programme revealed that in cases where the victim did not know the attacker, the proportion of foreign-born offenders was more than 80%.
A former police officer born in Afghanistan told the programme that some young Afghans who had come to Sweden in recent years had views that differed significantly from Sweden's idea of sexual equality.
“Views that differ significantly from Sweden’s idea of sexual equality”; that’s a nice way to put it.

Okay, I like my headline, but the NYPost has one at least as good, and probably a better one:
She wasn’t lovin’ it.
A 22-year-old McDonald’s employee in Florida was arrested after she took out a gun and shot at customers following a wild caught-on-camera drive-thru dispute.
Lakeland police said officers responded to the restaurant chain around 1 a.m. following the shooting, which stemmed from an argument between Gardner and the customers after they complained about an incorrect order.
Police said Gardner argued with a group of customers in the drive-thru before throwing a drink at the customers as they tried to drive away.
Video of the incident shows two of the customers then got out of their vehicle and opened up the drive-thru window to throw drinks at Gardner, who armed herself with a handgun.
Hilarity ensues.
“I can never apologize for the truth. I don’t mind apologizing for things. But I can’t apologize for the truth. I said tremendous crime is coming across. Everybody knows that’s true. And it’s happening all the time. So, why, when I mention, all of a sudden I’m a racist. I’m not a racist. I don’t have a racist bone in my body.”

“What can be simpler or more accurately stated? The Mexican Government is forcing their most unwanted people into the United States. They are, in many cases, criminals, drug dealers, rapists, etc.”

NEW YORK — An illegal immigrant Ecuadorian is in NYPD custody after a broad daylight sex attack in which police said a machete-wielding man approached two 13-year-olds, one a boy and one a girl, tied them together by the wrists and raped the girl at a popular park in Queens, according to sources.
An NYPD spokesperson confirmed a person of interest was in custody but declined to provide additional details.
However, law enforcement sources tell Fox News that police arrested an Ecuardorian man Monday evening in connection with the crime. He entered the country illegally in 2021.
And How’s Biden been handling this?
The "non-detained docket" is part of the Biden administration's "alternatives to detention" program that is supposed to track migrants caught at the border and released. The illegal aliens in ICE's non-detained docket are supposedly supplied with case management support to keep track of them. But the docket has swelled to 7.4 million under Biden and with only 6,000 deportation officers now responsible for 7,000 illegal aliens each, making sure the illegals make their court dates or stay out of trouble is impossible.
In addition to the 7.4 million illegals in the alternatives to detention program, there are 1.9 million gotaways that these deportation officers are also responsible for.
ICE claims the program has helped “support noncitizens compliance with release conditions” and “increased court appearance rates.” "Compliance with release conditions" is simple; don't commit felonies. Of course, even if an illegal commits a felony, good luck deporting them.
Migrants accepted into the program will have been evaluated based on criminal and immigration history, family and community ties, status as a caregiver, and humanitarian or medical considerations. ICE employs various methods — including GPS ankle monitors and phone call tracking — to keep track of the non-detained migrants as their cases progress.
The agency has reportedly been overwhelmed by the high number of migrants on the docket, with each ICE officer being tasked with managing an average of 7,000 cases. And the strain is only getting worse as the number of border crossings — and thus the number of cases given to the ICE — only continues to grow. The docket of non-detained migrants has seen more than 1 million new cases since the beginning of October.
The non-detained docket is expected to pass 8 million by the end of the fiscal year on Sept. 30.
He first acknowledges that a desired action must be approved by the legislative branch and then, when thwarted by that same legislature or the Supreme Court, he goes ahead and implents it by regulation or executive order. The media remains silent.
89 Valley Drive, a 1928 mock Tudor on 1.97 acres, has sold to an Upper East Side couple for $4,013,500. The previous listing agent started off the sales process at $5.650 in June 2022, but she apparently overestimated the appeal of this style to the current generation of buyers (or mine, for that matter).
20 Edgar Road, $5.625 million, estimated completion date October ‘24. The construction company putting this up paid $2.5 million for 17 acres, 3 lots, in 2023 (after the seller had started at $5.9 million in 2021), so there should be plenty of room for profit here.
I personally prefer peaked roofs in those parts of the country where precipitation can be expected, but many Westchesterites don’t, and because this location is for all practical purposes in the Banksville neighborhood, the design choice here shouldn’t matter.
The owner of 72 Lockwood Road a “Murphy House” built on a slab in 1968, bought it for $2.1 million in September 2022, put a new roof on it and placed it back on the market this April at $2.295. It sold yesterday for $2.5.
That might seem stiff to those who remember Mr. Murphy and his building standards, but hey, this one, it is said, is a “stunning five-bedroom Colonial” with “ elegant architectural details”, and I guess that makes it all understandable, I suppose.
No — zero — arrests for D.C. Hamas vandals
Owner Mollie Engelhart told Fox News Digital she called the police after protesters showed up at Sage Regenerative Kitchen & Brewery, but she claimed they didn't show up for three hours. Customers cleared out quickly, and Engelhart said she was forced to close on Father's Day.
"On Father’s Day, I’m trying to focus on my husband and my children and giving good customer service to other families that have chosen Sage for their Father’s Day experience," she told Fox News Digital. "These people came inside of my restaurant, harassed my customers, my employees, vandalized my restaurant and openly said they’d like to put me out of business."
The message that’s been sent out to the mob over the past years is that leftist goons and thugs can riot with impunity. Thus encouraged, we can be positive that they’ll be heading to the Midwest this August, and they won’t be coming with lovin’ on their minds.
Which is actually something to look forward to I think, because every car burned, every statue toppled, every small business burned out, will be another vote for Trump.
