There’s a video at the link that I haven’t watched and you probably won’t want to see either, but help yourself. In the meantime, here’s what awaits these people in their new home. They’ll be so much happier!
The Ontario Human Rights Tribunal is forcing the township of Emo and its mayor to compensate an LGBTQ activist group because elected officials refused to honor 'Pride Month' in 2020. Borderland Pride asked Emo to proclaim June 2020 as Pride Month and fly a rainbow Pride flag for a week but the mayor and council turned down the request, CBC News reported Friday.
The tribunal, whose rulings are legally binding, has determined that the township must pay Borderland Pride $10,000 and Emo Mayor Harold McQuaker has to provide the group with $5,000 from his personal finances.
To further humiliate the mayor and the chief administrative officer of the township, the tribunal ordered both to enroll and complete a Human Rights 101 indoctrination course from the Ontario Human Rights Commission within the next month.

Waging war against Musk with taxpayers' money
/perhaps rivian can complete these abandoned fisker cas and sell them for petty cash?
Lame-duck Biden administration “loans” $6.6B to struggling Tesla rival Rivian
Last week, Governor Noisome announced a plan to spend Californians’ money on handing out rebates to anyone who buys any battery car except Teslas, never mind that Tesla is the only EV manufacturer in the state; better the Chinese prosper than Elon Musk’s workforce keep their jobs.
Yesterday, Joe’s handlers have done Noisome one better:
The Department of Energy announced on Tuesday that it was extending a $6.6 billion loan to Rivian for the construction of a $5 billion electric car factory in Georgia that the company initially started but then put on hold due to financial constraints.
The Rivian loan, which is reportedly contingent on the company not actively opposing union organizing efforts at the facility, would enable the company to complete construction of the Atlanta-area plant, which has the support of Georgia’s Republican Gov. Brian Kemp.
The facility is expected to employ 7,500 people who would begin manufacturing electric SUVs and trucks beginning in 2028.
That’s $880,000 a job, only slightly less than we give to our newcomers crossing the border.
Rivian … until last year, was worth as much as $150 billion just three years ago but is now worth slightly more than $10 billion.
And when it hits zero, and follows Fisker into the Hall of Failure, who will be left holding the uncollectible IOUs for these billions?
Exactly.

Old Greenwich sale
/22 Deepwoods Lane, $1.850 million, $1.795 ask.
I posted on this house when it went pending a couple of weeks ago, but now it's closed and its sale price reported
/248 Round Hill Road, $11.4 million on an $1.9 million ask. A completely renovated home, it was listed in December ‘22 by its previous owner and sold to this builder the following June for $3.5. It was on the market for 136 days then, while this time it took only 107 days. Faster time on the market, with far a superior result.
Old Greenwich contract
/New construction, 27 Harding Road, $2.990 million. 3,800 sq. ft., 1/3 of which will be discovered in its basement.

Well, Elon, you CAN buy this one, and perhaps for even less. Call me – we'll talk.
/Somebody I’ve never heard of is preemptively refusing to sell his website to Elon — I’m more practical, and I think Elon will appreciate that.
Elon Musk might try to buying MSNBC. But I can promise you that he'll never buy @DemocracyDocket. It will always be fearlessly independent and unapologetic pro-democracy. It will never obey.
