Of all the countries in Europe you would expect to be liberal on immigration policies, Sweden and Denmark would be near the top of the list. 

We all know that Poland and Hungary are standing firm on border issues. Georgia Meloni in Italy won on a "get strict "policy on immigration. 

But Sweden and Denmark? Yep. It turns out that they are now hard core when it comes to taking back their countries. Sweden is even paying migrants to pack up and leave.

I did not sleep well last night. I suddenly thought about what Dr Beth Upton said about nurse Sandie Peggie, which left her "upset and afraid." Many trans people won't access NHS healthcare for fear of embarrassment, fear of "what people will say or think" in the first place, but now we have gender-critical people to consider. Can you imagine the likes of JK Rowling or Maya Forstater being a nurse given their views on trans people? Or how about Helen Joyce, the woman who proudly held aloft a ripped LGBT+ Progress flag while trampling the section representing trans people underfoot? Did she not suggest there should be fewer trans people? People like Rowling, Forstater and Joyce exist and work in the NHS - their views are even legally protected! Being trans will be on our health record - but being GC won't be on theirs. So if the shoe is "on the other foot", for example, a trans healthcare professional would not know if someone was GC, but it doesn't work the other way around. , And before the neutral (not to mention the transphobes) scream at this post saying health professionals take an oath, so did Lucy Letby, convicted of killing a dozen babies, and Ian Paterson, who carried out some 20 unapproved mastectomies and got 20 years.

The Environmental Protection Agency under the Biden administration awarded Power Forward Communities the grant in April 2024 as part of the agency's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund program. Power Forward Communities received the green energy grant despite the fact that it was founded months earlier in late 2023 and never managed anywhere near the grant's dollar figure—it reported just $100 in total revenue during its first three months in operation, according to its latest tax filings.

Power Forward Communities' grant was one of just eight Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund grants that the EPA doled out in April 2024 and that, altogether, totaled $20 billion. EPA administrator Lee Zeldin announced on Feb. 13 that his staff and Department of Government Efficiency officials discovered that the Biden administration parked that same $20 billion at an outside financial institution before leaving office, limiting the federal government's oversight of the program.

It also appears to validate concerns expressed for years by Republicans that Biden administration allies would prop up organizations that were specifically designed to receive federal funding under programs like the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, which was created to operate as a "green bank" by Democrats' behemoth Inflation Reduction Act of 2022.
