17 Hemlock Drive, that 1902 pile of stone over near the Mercedes dealer has a pending contract. The place is pretty much a wreck or, to be kind, could use a thorough renovation, dark, too large, and even its four acres in the one-acre zone didn't offer much bang for its $6.995 million asking price. That number is far better than the $11 the seller wanted in 2015, but still ....

So who's the buyer? A mad Russian? A nostalgic, senile Englishman? Nursing home operator? We'll soon see.
