49 Grahampton Lane closed at $4,162,500, and I think the buyers got quite a deal. I've written about this house over the past 2 1/2 years as its price slowly declined, from $7.395 to this final end point, and while it clearly wasn't worth that frothy initial price, as it kept dropping it looked more and more like a bargain. The owners paid $3.475 for it in 2000 and essentially completely rebuilt it, changing the roofline and adding an dditional 2,000 sq. feet. The project must have cost a small fortune, and was, in my opinion, worth it. Of course, a lot of potential buyers over the past couple of years must have seen it and disagreed, so there you have it.
But I think the buyer's done well here.
