A "Colonial" on Hope Farm Road finds a buyer

That's how the past two listings for 16 Hope Farm Road have described its architectural style, and though I've always had my doubts, who am I to argue with experts? In any event, priced at $1.975 million, it's reported as under contract. Last time around, it started at $3.395 in 2008, which I, and the market, thought preposterous, and finally sold to these owners in 2010 for $2.2. Any hope that 2010 was the bottom of the market has, seven years on, been eliminated, at least for this particular house.
