20 Greenbriar Lane, off Round Hill Road, has cut its price to $2.495 million. It sits on a very nice piece of land, and this section of Round Hill was moved to the Parkway-Central school district (and I wonder what political pressure was applied to accomplish that), so what's not to like? I thought it was a good house back in 2010, except for its opening price of $3.4 million, set by a respected, except by me, agent, but these owners paid $2,688,748 for it in 2011, and did some improvements afterwards.
By the way, when I see a silly number like that 2011 sale price, I wince: do the deal, don't waste time quibbling over pennies. I blame the agents, usually, in these cases, for their inability to control the negotiations, although admittedly, we do see a fair number of Wall Street assholes out here, who just can't resist clashing egos against each other.
