Goldman Sachs pays $800 million- plus for Venezuela oil bonds, thereby propping up the regime. Hey, I get it: the bonds pay 30%, and if Goldman's money helps Madura hold on long enough to pay them off, there are billions to be made here.

Money has no conscience, but those who have it should, in my opinion. And yes, it distresses me to actually find myself on the side of those campus activists, at least in principle, who demand divestment of companies investing, in, say, South Africa, Israel, or their current pet peeve, "global warming deniers".
