The higher end market is not entirely dead.
82 Doubling Road, custom-built in 2013 and asking $5.795, has a pending contract after just 174 days (and a modest price drop from $5.999).
It's a very nice house, on a (slightly - 1.25 acre in R-1) oversized lot, in a location close to central Greenwich. I'm not surprised that it's found a buyer, but I'm relieved that there are still buyers this late into our spring market. There are lots of pending contacts in this price range, and we'll be seeing their closings soon, but activity in this particular range has been pretty thin lately.
