The owners of 16 Hope Farm Road have sold their home for $1.9 million; not so far off from the $2.2 they paid for it in 2010. The sellers were properly cautious in pricing this from the start a year ago, when they brought it to the market at $2.299, probably because those sellers had priced it at $3.399 in 2008 and finally sold it to these sellers in 2010 for that $2.2. Learning from others' mistakes is always a sign of intelligence.

It did have the zebra curtains, which couldn't have hurt

And a contemporary, ironic reference to the zebra rug,  which, given thiis home's modern style, fits in perfectly, and probably sealed the deal

I might have consigned these - Egyptian candle holders? Table accessories? whatever - to the attic during house showings
