Two bidding wars on the same house, before and after renovation

39 Edgewater Drive in Old Greenwich sat derelict and abandoned for years before it was finally put up for sale in 2013 at $780,00. A price war ensued, and the winner got it for $876,000. Those buyers completely  restored and renovated it and this past March, listed it for $1.895 million and won again: they've sold it for $1.935.

In view of the previous discussion here about a lack of a garage hurting a house's chances, it's interesting to note that this house, too has no garage.
