Alas, poor Bailiwick!

The neighborhood lost its luster long ago, and never regained it. Case in point, 12 Bailiwick Road, which dropped its price today to $1.895 million. The owners paid $2.025 for it in 2003 after it had been on the market for just two weeks, poured money into it, and tried reselling it for $3.297 in 2010. That failed, and they brought it back on the market in 2016 at $3 million. Despite a slowly declining price, it refuses to sell.

Much of the home’s trouble can be attributed to its design, which is awful, and its now-dated interior, but Bailiwick itself hasn’t been doing well for years; since about 2003, in fact.

Nice property, though — too bad it can’t be relocated.
