The skeptical realtor, chapter 2,369

Back in May I noted the arrival of a new listing at 183 N.Maple Avenue. It was a re-do of a rather unprepossessing builder’s special from the ‘60s and priced at $2.495 million. The remodeler’s name was “Optimistic Builders”, which, I cautioned, might be an unfortunate tempting of fate.

Eight months later it remains unsold, albeit with a price drop today to $2.199.
