Record price for this street

61 Morningside Drive, $3.375 million, is reported as pending. Looks like a decent house, and the owners are said to have performed “extensive renovations” since buying it new in 2014 for $2.150, but Morningside has never seen prices like this before. There have been only three sales in the $2s: this one, at $2.150; and #35, $2.480 in 2005; and #20, $2.0475 in 2015.

Records are made to be broken — just ask Lia Thomas — and certainly Morningside is not the only street to see a new price level in the current market, so good for them.

But it’s interesting.
