Illinois’ program to provide free medical care to illegal aliens was originally estimated to cost $2-$4 million, the tab now exceeds $1.1 billion and is still running.
This program is just for the illegals who were already in the state when it was initiated; there’s a separate plan for the new incoming “refugees”.
