Nestled amidst sylvan meadows, convenient to transportation — hurry; this one won't last!
/Sarcasm aside, it probably won’t last, because the market’s gone nuts. New to the market at $2.199 million, 18 Sound Beach Avenue, Old Greenwich sold via bidding war last year — $950,000, on an opening asking price of $850,000 — and the replacement for the 1950 house that was on it is now nearing completion.
Not sure how much use that porch in the rear will receive, and a vivid imagination will be required to enjoy, or even see, those verdant woodlands, lush lawns and rolling hills stretching out to the horizon, but the advertising for the house is primarily directed at the deaf and the blind, and so may appeal to that market segment.
(Although the property wasn’t far from the post road when this was built in 1950, I-95 didn’t appear until 1954-1958)
