322 Riversville Road, on and off the market since 2012, is reported under contract. Current ask is $2.395 million, close to the $2.495 it sought 14 years ago. Built in 1845, its location in the shadow of the Merritt Parkway hasn’t helped its chances, but the real problem, as I’ve seen it, is that it’s been decorated like a New Orleans whorehouse all during its stay on the market, and although that might have worked with buyers in 1845, it’s a turn-off now.
