Back from the dead: Jordan Saper McMansion has resurfaced on the MLS
/170 Old Mill Road, built by developer Jordan Saper back in the biggerbetterbrighterwider boom days of the early 2000s, has again put up for sale, this time for $8.495 million, only slightly less than the $8.850 million (on a $9.4 ask) it sold for new in 2006.
2006 proved the high water mark for this specimen of the builder’s craft, with subsequent sales dropping ever lower:
2015, $4.9 million (started at $7.795 February 2012)
2020, $4.270 million (started at $5.495 2019)
This time things may be different. The agent’s hauled in The Zebra, and has been careful to ensure that no bookshelves, anywhere, have been brought into the house since Saper’s day. So, somethiing familiar, and nothing scary; could work.
as an ironic reference to the last generation’s bookshelves, two Memento Nooks have been created, suitable for displaying club tennis championship trophies (purchased, if need be) and Greenwich Academy leadership awards (also Available on EBay)
