The former NBA center says he meets every requirement necessary to compete based on current self-identification guidelines

Former NBA Draft first round pick (3rd overall in 2011) Enes Kanter Freedom, who has been an adamant opponent of LeBron James, the Chinese Communist Party, Nike, along with more political activism, which he believes blackballed him from the NBA, has officially declared himself a prospect for the 2027 WNBA Draft.

"If simply declaring who you are is all that’s required, then I meet every requirement necessary to compete in the WNBA" Freedom stated in a social media post seated behind a studio desk wearing an orange WNBA sweatshirt with the Nike logo crossed out.
