12 Saint Claire, priced at $4.6 million and on the market for nine days (probably 1 or 2) is reported under contract. There’s no question that the Flu has changed our market, even on streets like Saint Claire, still a neighborhood of modest homes.
Gosh.
Apparently no one’s going to miss him, because he spoils the narrative
Killer of Aaron Danielson was shooting at cops with a semi-automatic rifle when shot and killed.
[W]itnesses Chad Smith and Chase Cutler, who were about 50 feet away from the melee, said they saw the suspect get out of his car and fire what they believed was an assault rifle at the officers. They heard 40 or 50 shots, with officers returning fire, striking the man.
“It reminded me of a video game,” said Cutler, who was working on cars with Smith nearby in Tanglewilde, which borders the city of Lacey.
None of the officers, who were working as part of the US Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force, were injured.
Brady said all four officers — from the state Department of Corrections, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department and the Lakewood Police Department — fired their weapons.
Reinoehl died at the scene. He was wanted by authorities for the shooting death of Aaron “Jay” Danielson, 39, at a protest in Portland last weekend.
Reinoehl’s death came hours after he appeared to admit to shooting and killing Danielson in an interview with Vice News that aired Thursday.
Compare the silence — so far — on Reinoehl’s death with that of another armed thug, who was black:
On Wednesday, after a black 18-year-old was shot by a D.C. police officer and died shortly after in a nearby hospital, the name Deon Kay joined the pantheon of black "victims" killed at the hands of so-called "KKKcops." Protesters immediately sprung into action on Wednesday, carrying over into Thursday and culminating in an angry mob gathering outside the home of D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser.
Police say officers were responding to a live stream on social media of a man brandishing a firearm. The officers recognized the young man from their previous encounters with the individual. According to the chief, Kay was a "validated" gang member.
When officers arrived and approached the car, two of the four occupants fled on foot. Bodycam footage of the incident captures Deon Kay raising a gun as he runs toward a Hispanic officer. The officer then fires a single shot at Kay, striking him in the chest.
The two people who complied by remaining inside the vehicle were arrested without injury. Funny how that happens. The other suspect that fled on foot has not yet been apprehended.
Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest
Three dolts out on bail and wearing GPS ankle monitors go out for a bit of fun
The South Florida Sun Sentinel reported that the three men were on pre-trial release and wearing monitors when they allegedly decided to go on a crime spree. They were arrested for burglaries, armed burglaries, fraud, gun thefts and other criminal acts. The seized evidence includes a wide variety of stolen goods including an AK-47, a Smith & Wesson handgun, more than $150,000 in cash, and stolen cards, a car, and other items.
It took the police about an hour to track ‘em down and arrest them, and much of that time was spent stopping to buy a couple of six-packs for their buddies to hold while the SWAT team entered.
Flashback, 2017: Noted CNN and MNBC “analysts” ridicule Trump for predicting that Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial are next.
Three years ago, the “old” Left couldn’t see where their radicals would push them. Imagine where they’ll be in four more years.
34 Burying Hill Road, $4.495 million. Purchased for $4.750 in 2013 and beautifully (and obviously expensively) remade in 2016, so the buyers are doing well here. Prowling the tax records for a reason for taking a loss, I'll only report that there was no financial pressure here; I surmise that the owner having received it free and clear in 2019, decided to cash out and move. If so, the “sell-it-now” price makes perfect sense — why hang around if you want out?
As I said, the buyers are fortunate to have this opportunity land in their laps.
C’mon, man!

They must be seeing some interesting polling results down in the cave.
11 Simmons Lane (the road was named for the mattress people, if you care), 2017 construction, has sold for $8.550 million. Started at $9.6 in June 2019.
134 Otter Rock, built in 1910 and, of course, basically rebuilt since then, has sold for $6.250 million on an asking price of $6.750. Otter Rock’s a great street and Belle Haven commands a premium, so the only surprise here is how quickly it sold, not the price.
40 Mooreland Road (nee 10 Langhorne), asking $2.795 million, is under contract 14 days after being listed. In 2018, freshly renovated, it was originally listed at $3.195 and eventually sold to these owners for $2.4. Decent house, but before Kung Flu hit our shores, you wouldn’t expect such a quick sale, especially with such a nice premium over price paid.
