John Kerry explains why he flew private jet to Iceland to recieve environmental award.

President Biden's recently appointed climate czar, John Kerry, took a private jet to Iceland in 2019 to receive the Arctic Circle award for climate leadership, Fox News has learned.

Kerry defended his high-pollution ride at the time, calling it "the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle" in an interview obtained by Fox News. The incident had not been previously reported in the American press.

Icelandic reporter Jóhann Bjarni Kolbeinsson confronted Kerry at the event over his choice of transportation, asking: "I understand that you came here with a private jet. Is that an environmental way to travel?"

Kerry responded by claiming that it was the only way.  "If you offset your carbon -- it's the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle," Kerry said.

"I negotiated the Paris Accords for the United States," he added, referring to the multilateral climate agreement signed while he was secretary of state under President Obama.

"I've been involved with this fight for years. I negotiated with [Chinese] President Xi to bring President Xi to the table so we could get Paris. And, I believe, the time it takes me to get somewhere, I can't sail across the ocean. I have to fly, meet with people and get things done," Kerry said, sidestepping the fact that he chose a private jet over a commercial flight.

And she's on Biden's short-list to be Massachusetts’ next U.S. Attorney

Rachael Rollins explains road rage incident to reporter: Get the f’k outta here!

Road rage incident may [but probably won’t - ed] derail her chances of being named U.S. Attorney for District of Massachusetts

Massachusetts's Democratic attorney general has confirmed an ongoing investigation into a road rage allegation against Boston's top prosecutor, Rachael Rollins, a liberal firebrand who is on the Biden administration's shortlist to be nominated for U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts.

The investigation into Rollins, who has embraced such radical policy positions as halting prosecution of drug dealers, stems from a Christmas Eve parking lot incident during which she allegedly cut a woman off, threatened to write her a ticket, and then used her car's police lights to zoom away through a red light as she shouted, "Today is not the day to try me!" Rollins has denied the allegations—and snapped at local reporters who've asked about them–but Massachusetts attorney general Maura Healey said in her monthly public radio interview that her office is yet to close the investigation it launched in early January.

Personally, if I were a resident of Massachusetts, I’d be more concerned about her refusal to arrest rioters, shoplifters and drug dealers; out-of-control anger in a prosecutor is to be deplored, but turning residents and shopkeepers over to the tender mercies of the criminal class will more more profound, permanent damage to civil society than a hot-headed manic n the streets. There’s only one of her; the number of criminals is legion.

Here’s her list of what she is no longer prosecuting in Suffolk County. I realize that, with the exception of drug-dealing and rioting, these are state, not federal, crimes, but her list exhibits her sympathies, and will also preclude the feds stepping in to protect citizens when the state refuses to act

Oh! I forgot this part: she opposes using Fenway as a site for mass-vaccinations because it’s racist, ‘and people sing the national anthem”. Presumably, they won’t be forced to sing that tune while receiving their shots, but the taint lingers. For that matter, is there anywhere in her city that could serve as a non-racist site? In Boston, home of racists like Paul Revere and John Adams and white supremacists who threw tea into the harbor in order to preserve the institution of slavery?

Oh, again! One more thought: her refusal to prosecute people caught driving with a suspended or revoked license takes away one of the few deterrents to drunk driving available. The penalty for driving after an OUI conviction doesn’t deter all drunks from getting behind the wheel again, but it certainly stops a lot of them — not everyone you see riding bicycles or walking along the road is doing it for his health. With no penalty for ignoring a ban on her driving, there’s nothing to stop a drunk from roaming the highways, a direct and deadly danger to you, your family, and your fellow citizens.

This will not end well

Sarah Hoyt: Equity is not Equality Before the Law

Biden Proclaims ‘Racial Equity’ as Goal ‘Of the Whole of Government’.

Equity, in this context is assigning outcomes based on the racial group they think you belong to. It is in fact making people who never did anything wrong pay/lose out to people whose ancestors supposedly were done wrong by.  (This is all more complex than mere skin color. For instance Kamala Harris like Barrack Obama is descended from slavers on both sides of the family, as recently as anyone in the west is.)
So, the Fraud In Chief Of The US just announced that the whole goal of government is to discriminate on the basis of race and assign winners and losers based on a distorted version of history.
Are we all clear on this?  Good. I don’t want to be this blindingly angry on my own.

Reader/commenter “Concerned from the Right” has supplied another version of the cartoon above, one that is certainly not being used in our schools:

Twitter has frozen the account of The Daily Citizen for engaging in “hate speech”, and Not the Bee has the story

Levine has every one of his 7 trillion cells encoded with the XY chromosome exclusively found in males across the entire animal kingdom. HOWEVER, he has put on makeup and long hair and women's clothes – and has potentially had some hormone shots and surgeries – and now identifies as a woman. THEREFORE, according to sCieNcE, we must never acknowledge that he's different from all the world's biological women ... or else be ridiculed and banned from polite society.

"Dr. Levine is a transgender woman, that is, a man who believes he is a woman."

To the uninitiated, this looks like a simple definitional phrase to help the reader understand who and what the article will discuss.

To the woke, however, this phrase is clearly a transphobic, evil statement set to applaud the murder of LGBT individuals and deprive them of their rights.

"You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease," said Twitter to The Daily Citizen.

Twitter won't unlock the magazine's account until they delete the tweet. In response, The Daily Citizen pointed out that all they did was provide a literal definition.

"We simply explained to our readers the appointment and defined what transgender women are — those born male who believe they are a woman, regardless of whether they have had opposite-sex hormones or surgeries," said The Daily Citizen wrote. "We believe Twitter's blocking of this tweet and lockdown of our account discriminates against Focus on the Family's The Daily Citizen on the basis of our religious affiliation."

It’s not a matter of hating transgenders, but rather a hatred of being told by the Woke that we must discard what we know to be true and accept unquestioningly whatever version of “the Truth” they happen to be peddling on a given day. Next thing you know, they’ll be telling us that schools are too unsafe to be reopened. and God forbid that you question the vote counting process in the recent erection.

Off the rent-rolls and back on the market

When 65 Clapboard Ridge Road was rented out last March it also continued to be offered at $6.995. No one took advantage of that price, so the owners have raised it to $7.495 — tht’’ll larn you.

I understand the sellers’s desire to recoup more of the $10 million they paid for this place in 2007, but raising the price on a house that won’t sell is almost always a losing proposition.

It does have the Orange/Zebra combo going for it, though, and a tipi — this may do it.
