The new Democrat Party line: Hitler was just a poor, misunderstood painter trying to rid the world of a troublesome race

i like this guy platner; i like the cut of his jib

There’s a string of posts over at Instapundit detailing the party’s acceptance and embracement of Hitler and Stalin, but this one sums it up neatly:

Kissenger said of the Iran-Iraq war that "it was too bad both sides can't lose". The equivalent scenario appears to be occurring in California, and this time, with luck, both sides WILL lose

Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris destined for mutual destruction as private feud boils over

San Francisco Democrats Gavin Newsom and Kamala Harris may publicly sing each other’s praises — but the frenemies are privately at each other’s throats as they both eye a 2028 White House bid.

The two star Dems may be careening toward a “murder-suicide,” as one adviser once put it to the San Francisco Chronicle, if both decide to run for president, as petty feuds over book sales, a “hiking” snub and Harris’ decision to stay out of the California governor’s race boil over behind closed doors.

Newsom and Harris are at the top of 2028 Democratic presidential polls in what could be their first head-to-head competition since they both launched their careers in San Francisco more than 20 years ago.

Fine, fine — go at it, you dolts, and may both sides lose. But here’s the truly sad part of the story (for the few sane Californians still remaining and trying to hang on in their state): just as Los Angelinos seem poised to keep their communist mayor who has proved her utter ineptitude and inability to run the city, Kampallawalla DingDong, according to this article could “easily win” the Governorship should she choose to run.

“The personal tension only deepened after Harris declined to run for governor — a race many Democrats believe she could have easily won — while continuing to tease another run for president.”

“She knew he was going to run for president,” the source close to Newsom told The Post. “What he was hoping she would do is have the common sense to run for governor.”

Whatever’s coming California’s way, its residents deserve everything they are about to receive, and more.

Gone — doubtless to the wrecking ball — in Old Greenwich

33 Sound Beach Avenue reports a contract. Priced at an even million, it went to highest-and best, and I’m confident the bids that came in didn’t start at less than that, so it’ll be fun to see what it sells for.

1929 construction, two bedrooms, and not located in the quietest, most coveted neighborhood of Old Greenwich, but it does have a gourmet kitchen, sun-drenched, no doubt, and a basement that will be familiar to your great-grandfather, if he’s still around.

Not that any of us needed more evidence of the brazen election theft going on in the Golden State, but this is interesting: No new votes for Bass — she doesn’t need them — all for Raman

Of Course the California Vote Was Rigged! Here’s Why It’s Obvious.

Matt Margolis, PJ Media:

Left-wing influencers have been celebrating all over social media. Spencer Pratt, the conservative independent candidate in the Los Angeles mayoral primary, despite a strong showing in the polls, now looks to have no path to the runoff, and the far left can barely contain its glee. Naturally, conservatives are suspicious, and trust me, they have every reason to be.

As you know, after the mayoral debate, Pratt surged, and Nithya Raman fell to third place. Political observers across the spectrum widely assumed Pratt would reach the runoff. Then election night arrived, and sure enough, Pratt came in second place.

It’s what happened in the days that followed that demands serious scrutiny.

In successive post-election mail-in ballot drops, Raman's vote share roughly doubled, jumping from around 20% to roughly 40%. She won first place in every new post-election batch.

Of course, the reality is that mail-in ballots lean Democrat. No one is denying that, so naturally, Democrats are using that as their default explanation for Raman’s surge. The problem is that the numbers obliterate that explanation, because the margins defy any documented precedent. Why? Because the mail-in ballot returns disproportionately favor Raman at Pratt’s expense, while Karen Bass’s lead remains solid.

The statistical anomalies are significant.

It’s like they aren’t even trying to hide what they’re doing, and that’s the scary part. They expect to get away with it. They’re not afraid.

No one could be this stupid, could they? Well, yes, there are several, and they all work, or did work, at HelloFresh

HelloFresh Crosses Line With Repulsive Pride Month Ad. It’s Sickening.

Meal-kit delivery giant HelloFresh is facing backlash after publishing a Pride Month advertisement that many critics described as vulgar and unnecessarily sexual.

The company, which delivers pre-portioned ingredients, recipes, and cooking instructions directly to customers, posted the ad on social media Thursday as part of its Pride Month marketing campaign.

“We know that eating isn’t always a top priority this month,” the company wrote. “We respect that. But for those of you who are … prepping … we have an extensive lineup of high-fiber recipes available. Happy Pride.”

The post is a reference to anal sex and preparation for sexual activity. The company further amplified the “joke” by using a suggestive promotional code from a commenter. “Use code BOTTOMSUP for a Pride Month discount,” the company wrote.

Of course, there’s a second customer base out there that HelloFresh’s high-fiber colonics may appeal to, so there’s that.

I'm not saying the shooters were black, just noting that the police aren't releasing a description of the suspects — that’s usually a tell

At least a dozen shot near festival in Ohio; manhunt for suspects underway

Two of the 12 victims are reported to be in critical condition, authorities said

Deputy Chief Joseph Heffernan said during a news conference that investigators believe the shooting involved at least two gunmen.

"They were probably shooting at each other," Heffernan said.

Investigators said they are actively searching for the suspects involved.

As of late Saturday night, authorities have not released descriptions of any suspects or identified a possible motive.

Nazi, schmazi, says Wernher von Braun

Nazi tattoos, sex texting, physical abuse of women, including spouses and the women he was cheating on them with: none of that matters to Maine’s Democrat supporters of Graham Platner: “Whatever he says, if there’s a D in front of it, I’ll swallow it” says (essentially) the woman in a anti-Trump T shirt.

I’d mention that the man is a communist, and that his policies when enacted will ruin America, but that’s just a bonus to these people.

Graham Platner supporters shrug off controversies at Bar Harbor rally

BAR HARBOR, Maine — The latest controversies rocking oyster farmer Graham Platner’s insurgent U.S. Senate bid showed no signs of curbing his support at a rally here alongside Maine progressive candidates and U.S. Rep. Ro Khanna of California.

Hundreds of Mainers packed into the historic Criterion Theatre for the event, which came just a day after the New York Times reported that three of Platner’s ex-girlfriends alleged toxic behavior. On Wednesday, Platner returned home early from a trip to Washington, D.C., after seeking to assuage senators concerned about his past and any further potential damaging news following reports he sent sexually explicit messages to women early in his marriage.

The Democrats hope Platner, who effectively toppled Gov. Janet Mills’ Senate campaign and became the presumptive nominee in late April, can oust five-term Republican Sen. Susan Collins to flip the chamber in November.

“We need new blood,” Ann Akerson of Bar Harbor said as she waited in line along Cottage Street. She wore a shirt emblazoned with a fist and the words, “Grab them by the ballot,” a play on President Donald Trump’s notoriously vulgar remark about grabbing women in a 2016 Access Hollywood recording. She said she wasn’t concerned about Platner’s private life.

“What happens between them and their house and their bedroom, that’s their business,” she said. “What can he do for us? That is our business.”
