31 Meadowcroft Lane

31 Meadowcroft, which sold for $6.395 million in 2004 and has been on the market and slowly dropping from that same price to, today, $4.995, reports a pending sale. Not much of a house, it's also listed as land: 2.95 acres, and I believe the seller intended to build new when he bought the place back in 2004, before his plans were changed for him by his soon-to-be ex-souse. 

Given the still-active and flamboyant drinking and driving career of that lady I imagine the seller's perfectly delighted to be shed of the place - he moved on long ago and, from all I understand, he's both a nice guy and someone who can afford to take the hit, so good for him. 

It will make a good building site, and Meadowcroft, despite Mark Mariani's worst efforts, remains a good street, though its beauty was significantly diminished by Mariani's spec efforts.
