That’s the rumor about 3 Mill Pond Court in Cos Cob. The “ask” is $1.550 million; the same tipster tells me that almost anything under $3 million is drawing multiple bids, which would be encouraging if there were any desirable houses still for sale in that price range.

If it’s a bargain you’re looking for, go west, young man, to downtown San Francisco, where luxury condos are going begging. Of course, that’s because your new neighbors will be beggars too, but sharing needles creates strong bonds within a community, and isn’t that what life’s all about?
