A group of “educators” have proposed renaming slavery as “involuntary relocation” in Texas’ second grade social studies curriculum.

Apparently the proposal is going nowhere, which is good. There’s no fine line between teaching children the history of our country; its magnificence and its imperfections, and erasing the meaning of words. C’mon, man.
