Nice little cottage, but probably doomed to be replaced

10 Maple Avenue, Old Greenwich, listed at $899,000, sold for $999,111. No doubt Maple Avenue was a more bucolic setting in 1937 when this was built, before I-95 came through the backyards, but still, the price works for where this is. I don’t know whether it will support a new $3 million house, but I suppose some builder will find out.
