Texas Daycare Accused of Running a Fight Club and the Internet Immediately Broke Rule No. 1

A Fort Worth family is suing a daycare for $1 million after alleging that a substitute teacher encouraged 4-year-old children to fight and physically assaulted their son during the incident.

And because the Internet remains undefeated, the phrase 'daycare fight club' has now escaped containment.

For those wondering, Heather and Richard Harris filed suit on September 4 against Arka Risinger Educators LLC, which operates Arka Montessori Academy of Risinger in Fort Worth, TX. The suit alleges a substitute teacher encouraged 4-year-olds to fight during an April 27 incident captured on video. Attorney Russell Button described the alleged setup as a 'child fight club.'

The Twitchy post has some great memes (including the one I stole this headline from, plus the picture) and it’s worth going over there to enjoy them, but the question I have — one of them, anyway — is who was the person in the classroom who stood idly by videotaping it? Surely not one of the 4-year-olds, so …?

(Afterthought: it occurs to me that maybe there was a fixed camera in the classroom, and that’s what captured the fight; we’ll see if that’s the case.)
