Of course, not every rental as gone as crazy as their owner has hoped
/There’s been a price cut at 465 E Putnam Avenue 500 today, down to $2,500; that’s close to the $2,200 it’s been rented out for since 2024, but nowhere near the $3,650 it’s owner had originally looked for earlier this year. Purchased by this owner in 2005 for $365,000, it’s been rented out ever since, beginning at $1,600 that year, slowly climbing, as noted, to $2,200 in 2024. Not sure what the owner was thinking this time, but she thought wrong.
This 638 sq. ft. studio apartment is part of “The Common” a condominium development built by Arthur Collins in 1977, a project that … well, it was built by the late Arthur Collins, Sr., and reflects every bit of the construction techniques, finishes and quality of all Collins’ work of that era.
