A well-deserved price cut

640 Round Hill Road, from $8 million to $7.5. It’s a fine old house: 1725 according to the listing, (1742, this history says) but I’m not sure what, besides the fact that its being sold by a former football player, would justify the leap from the 2.5 million he paid for it, fully renovated, in 2019, and its $8 million starting price.

The previous owners took a bath: they bought it for $3 million (on a $4.5 million list) in 2006, completely restored it in 2007, and resold it to this gridiron broadcaster for the aforesaid $2.5 in ‘19. I wrote about it then.

Nice house, though, and it still retains four of its original acres.
