Island homes can be a difficult sell, especially when the only access is via footbridge
/Located in the VE flood zone, too, which doesn’t help, although what else would you expect in a beach home?
Up in Westport, 46 Compo Mill Cove has taken another price cut, this time to $5.895 million. Its owners (who use it as a weekend home, judging from their LLC’s name, “Summer & Spring”) have been trying to move off-island since October 12, 2021, when they listed it at $7 million. Inflation may bail them out yet, but a mere million-dollar price shave over nearly four years won’t do the trick by itself.
