French riots: they’re not just for migrants and truants anymore (they never were)

WHO'S WHO: Inside France's 'Chaos Inc.' franchise of communist groups, labor unions and global activists

Fox News Digital investigation identifies 54 groups behind France's unrest as communists prepare a November youth strike

A Fox News Digital investigation has identified 54 organizations and movements in France's October student protests and their wider network of supporters and international amplifiers, including communist parties, revolutionary socialist groups, labor unions, environmental activists, Muslim student advocates, Palestinian-solidarity organizations and international media outlets.

Of the 54 organizations identified in the October protest ecosystem, 16 — or only about one in three — are student or youth organizations, including communist youth groups and a Muslim student association. The remaining 38 include adult-led communist groups, labor unions, political parties, revolutionary-left organizations, advocacy groups and international propaganda outlets.

They include Gilets jaunes, or "Yellow Vests," a radical far-left group that led protests with other groups this weekend, and far-left socialist political party La France Insoumise (LFI), or France Unbowed.

From the outset, far-left socialist and communist organizations helped organize and amplify France’s student revolt, using grievances over school conditions as a pretext to mobilize a broader political struggle against capitalism, government austerity, policing and military spending.

…. Among the international amplifiers for this mayhem are organizations within the Singham network, including Tricontinental, named for a communist convention in Havana, Cuba, in 1966, CodePink and BreakThrough News, a New York-based media outlet, which promoted coverage of the weekend's mayhem in France with the headline: "ANTI-MACRON PROTESTS ROCK FRANCE."

It shared a montage of chaotic scenes from Montpellier, Paris, Marseille, Bordeaux, Strasbourg and Saint-Étienne, showing activists engulfed in smoke, Palestinian flags flapping above the crowds, black smoke billowing over flames and police hitting demonstrators with clubs. Its editors added a soundtrack of dramatic music. Its videos include politicians from the far-left socialist political party La France Insoumise (LFI).

In an interview with BreakThrough News, Jodie Evans, Singham's wife and co-founder of a far-left group he funded, CodePink, promoted a planned November campaign in Washington opposing U.S. military spending.

She explicitly invoked youth demonstrations abroad, including France, Spain and India, while urging Americans to participate in CodePink's campaign.

"I want people to look at France, Spain and India," Evans said, urging Americans to take to the streets.

And it’s not just a opinion piece Fox has published here, its reporters have committed real, actual journalism, and there’s a detailed list of them in its article.

Who’s who in Chaos Inc. in France identifies the 54 organizations in the international network promoting the riots and protests in France, from direct organizing to participation, public solidarity and media amplification.

As for opinion pieces, this one from PowerLine’s John Hinderaker is pretty good:

Who Burned Paris?

John Hinderaker: “France has been devastated by riots that have gone on for a month. The video footage is horrific, the destruction appalling. Today President Emmanuel Macron delivered a televised address on the riots. It struck me as weak, but I think he was right on one important point:

Yesterday, Saturday 17 October, factious elements from ultra-left groups, joined by numerous delinquents, engaged in unbridled violence in our cities. Businesses were looted, public buildings, shops, and town halls were attacked, and some were destroyed. Several hundred police officers and gendarmes were injured.

“Some in America, including both President Trump and Vice President Vance, made the riots all about immigration. Trump, for example, wrote on Truth Social:”

France is burning! The immigration of people from an entirely different world, people with hatred in their hearts, has shattered that once great country. Close your Borders and take control, before it is too late!

“Of course I agree with Trump that France’s liberal immigration policies (like Britain’s and Germany’s, among others) have been a disaster. And lots of migrants participated in the rioting and looting that we have seen in recent days. But video footage indicates that there were plenty of native French citizens among the rioters, too.

“The riots were not disorganized or spontaneous. On the contrary, they were well organized and well supplied. I think Macron is right to emphasize the controlling role of the far Left–Communists–in the riots. The disorder may have been started by high school students, but it was quickly taken over by professional revolutionaries.

“It is notable, too, that the riots have not been confined to France. There has been violence and arson in Milan and across Italy, as well as in Belgium, Portugal and elsewhere. These riots all used the cost of living as a pretext, but they were fomented and led by the far Left, i.e., by Communists. As Macron said, the leftists were supplemented by criminals. This is natural: socialism is rule by a criminal gang, and is always popular with criminals.

“ …. After identifying the source of the riots, Macron’s speech went downhill. He drew a sharp but fictitious distinction between peaceful “demonstrators” and the criminals who have more recently rioted, but the reality is that these demonstrations were violent riots from the beginning.

“And Macron took seriously the idea that the riots have something to do with the cost of living, specifically the price of gasoline, for which he disclaimed any responsibility, and which he promised to try to remedy. But again, the idea that criminals are burning down buildings and looting stores because of the price of petrol is absurd and should not be indulged. As is often said, the issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.”

Limoges Town Hall 'largely lost' after far-left rioters set historic building on fire amid French unrest

David Strom has much more on this over on HotAir, including a wide collection of videos of these scuffles. Here’s a snippet fro his article, addressing BBC’, CBS’ and all the mainstream media’s description of these riots as a demand for better school books:

Radicals Burning France Down

By any standards, France leads the OECD countries in government spending as a percentage of GDP. The OECD average is 43 percent of GDP, and the European average is about 50 percent (which helps explain how sclerotic their economies are).

For all the BBC and co describe this as ‘a protest about books’ etc, the reality is that at its heart it’s a combination of hard left extremism, and imported, deeply hostile intifada-style radicalism. The latter is increasingly central to this type of social unrest across Europe.  https://x.com/Sarahsa09309757/status/2111439512844845084/video/1

France's government spending? 58 percent, putting it at the top of the list, giving the lie to the idea that France's government is parsimonious in any conceivable way.

France is, for all intents and purposes, inching closer to the socialist utopia that the radical leftists say they want. More than half the population gets paid by the government in some form, either as a government employee or, more commonly, as a direct recipient of welfare.

None of this is organic, whatever the media wants you to believe. It is the product of a transnational movement with ties to all the opponents of Western civilization united, with money from China, Iran, probably Russia, and others of our enemies, and the ground troops are the socialist- and communist-aligned groups who are working in all Western countries, including here.

Report: Marseille Rioters Burned Jewish-Owned Shops, Left Muslim-Owned Ones Untouched

The riots in France are not about the cost of living or education. There is a reason so many of those rioting are immigrants or first-generation (especially Muslims), and why so many of them carry Communist or Palestinian flags. We are watching the neo-Nazi sharia takeover of France in real time. That is why the Marseille rioters specifically targeted Jewish businesses.

It is important to note that the Marseille rioters specifically chose to target Jewish businesses over the Jewish Sabbath. JFeed reported on October 18:

A French journalist [Paul Amar] reports that rioters in Marseille burned and vandalized Jewish-owned businesses while leaving Muslim-owned shops on the same street untouched, suggesting the attacks were planned in advance… Against the backdrop of historic riots and disturbances that swept France over Shabbos, journalist Paul Amar shed light on a CNews broadcast on the extent of advance organization among the rioters

At least all this is finally finishing that stereotype that all Jews are smart

Perhaps he has it backwards, and it's because intelligent, conservative (but I repeat myself) blacks are drawn to integrated churches?

Why should conservative blacks be any different from the tens of thousands of white conservatives who, fed up with lefty politics spewed from the pulpit on Sundays, have left the episcopal church?

Rutgers scholar [sic] opposes integrated churches because black people may vote Republican

Rutgers Professor Ryon Cobb argues “while 84% of Black adults identify as Democrat or lean Democratic, that number hides what congregational diversity costs Black politics.”

“Among Black nondenominational Protestants, that figure drops to nearly 60%, with one in three calling themselves independents,” Cobb wrote in an essay for the Brookings Institution.

Cobb, an “inclusive excellence in research” scholar considers it a “loss” when black people vote Republican.

He wrote:

Where Black Americans worship shapes their politics, and the data show the cost. The losses run in two directions: White congregations convert Black members to Republicanism, while multiracial congregations pull them out of partisan politics altogether. The mechanism is not diversity itself—it is who holds power inside those congregations.

He adds in the requisite warning about “white Christian nationalism” and also points out that some black people are less likely to identify with either political party when they attend multiracial congregations.

Professor Cobb does not provide any data to show these people are less likely to vote, follow the news, or attend local city council meetings, but simply asserts they are less politically engaged.

The data show a slight increase in Republican identification when black people attend a multiracial church, and a larger increase when they attend a church considered “white.”

A multiracial church, according to Cobb’s research paper, refers to a church “where no single racial group constituted a majority in leadership or membership.”

Cobb also criticizes black people who adopt “white cultural norms.”

“Multiracial congregations don’t convert—they drain Black members of the political identity Black-majority congregations build,” he writes. “They hold together not by centering integration but by defaulting to white cultural norms.”

Cobbs does not define what “white cultural norms” are in either this essay or the full academic paper.

And this you already guessed:

The professor conducted research for this academic paper with assistance from the federal government.

He disclosed funding from the National Institute on Aging of the National Institutes of Health through a grant which funds a University of Michigan urban issues research center.

I’m providing a list of all the Democrats: politicians, academics and the “Invisible Ladies of Belle Haven” alike, who have denounced this U.S. Senator. I’ll update it as the names come flooding in:

Not to fret, Gov, I’m sure some of the relatives of the 13 people he killed, or a sufficient number of the 22 wounded survivors will be happy to do the job; they’ll just have to aim low

A brief summary of the now-chairbound (thanks to the bullet that ended his murderous spree) Dr. Hasan can be found here. One small detail Governor Sherrill might want to consider is execution of a female MP by Hasan: as she lay on the floor, wounded, he went over, kicked her gun away and shot her in the head. Should he have propped her up against a wall before executing her?

Ya think?

(I didn’t bother reading the article itself —I was just amused at the headline, but here’s the link)

Shades of Andrew Kissel, found dead on his basement floor at 10 Dairy Road, bound and stabbed five times in the back: “Suicide” our GPD declared, thereby continuing its tradition of investigatory prowess: in 1937, our finest also declared the death of a resident to be a suicide after his bullet-riddled body was discovered in his home. An intrepid reporter for the predecessor of Greenwich Time investigated, and wondered how the victim, armed with a six-shot revolver, had managed to reload and shoot himself seven times; also, like poor Mr. Kissel, in the back. So far as I know, that mystery was never solved.

A Tale of Idiot Bars, Sold By An Idiot And Signifying Nothing

I’ve never heard of the guy, either, but he claims to have 6 million followers; he also boasts that he has “Zero sponsors telling me what to say”, so you — well, he, actually — can take everything he says to the bank.

In any event. here he is, with a response from someone with a brain and nothing to sell:

And the response:

continued: …. powered by the electrical grid, sealed in plastic made from petroleum pumped out of the earth by giant drills, boxed, labeled, barcoded, and scanned into an inventory system running on servers cooled by industrial AC units humming 24/7, then loaded onto a DIESEL TRUCK that hauls them down an interstate bulldozed straight through the exact wilderness you want to get lost in (you will not get lost, there is a Buc-ee's), dumped into a sorting hub full of conveyor belts and robotic arms and lasers, thrown onto ANOTHER truck, handed to a mail carrier idling in a van in a cul-de-sac, and dropped on a porch in a cardboard box that gets ripped open in four seconds and tossed in the recycling, all so someone can eat a bar they bought on a phone with a credit card processed in 0.3 seconds by a bank mainframe and then YOU logged on to tell the rest of us technology doesn't make anyone happy, when it's clearly making YOU very happy, and the second someone figures out drone delivery you'll be first in line with your logo on the propellers, so no, you're not a troglodyte, because troglodytes never offered free shipping on orders over $75.

Will this be the next demand on Greenwich’s school system?

Pork Removed From [some northern] Italy's School Lunches

Italian schools are replacing traditional dishes with Muslim-friendly foods such as chicken curry and couscous.

The move in certain parts of Italy, which also includes the removal of pork from menus, is designed to accommodate the dietary and cultural needs of the growing number of pupils from migrant backgrounds.

Dishes being banished from schools in a province in the north of the country include air-dried San Daniele prosciutto, pasta all’amatriciana – which has pork jowl as a key ingredient – and porchetta or crispy suckling pig.

Proponents of the measure say it is well-meaning and inclusive, and it does not make sense to offer pork in schools where a large proportion of children cannot eat them because of their religious beliefs.

Gee, it seems like it’s been just a few hours [it was — ED] since I posted about a letter sent from (a small handful, I hope) of Greenwich parents to the School Board, demanding the removal of all Israeli flags, as well as yellow ribbons memorializing the Palestinians’ October 7th October massacre of Jews, be removed from the (Jewish) camp that’s been rented by the school for next week’s 6th Graders’ 4-day “Outdoor Classroom” trip.

In addition to their demand that anything that reminds them or others of their relatives’ and friends’ horrific acts three years ago, one Farhan Memon, Chairman of the CT branch of [We Don’t] CAIR also “asked'“ the district to seek an alternative location for the field trip, scheduled for next week:

“The district has an opportunity to resolve this constructively: preserve the Outdoor Classroom experience while choosing settings that allow every child, in every school, to participate with confidence and dignity,” he said.

And change the menu, of course; we don’t want a single 6th Grade Muslim or Hamas sympathizer to be offended by the presence of pork in the cafeteria options.
